Nestling in a timeless valley is the Vingerklip Lodge on the 3000 ha Farm ¨Bertram¨ that is surrounded by a game fence helping us to protect and preserve the animals. Our 1600 ha private reserve has 3 waterholes in various locations around the lodge with the main water-hole being flood lit at night. Various types of animals including Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Kudus, Oryx, Springbok, Impala, Warthogs,Baboons and Steenbok frequently visit the waterholes and are also often spotted when following the walking trails.

Nearby attractions
There are a number of activities offered here at Vingerklip Lodge, from short walks here in the reserve to day trips into surrounding areas. We offer game drives at a neighboring game farm, and Ziplinging at another neighboring farm. Please inquire at the reception. If there is a trip or hike you would like to do but do not see it on our list, please ask us and we will see what we can do. We always try to be as flexible as possible. There are several different walking trails around Vingerklip Lodge, both guided and unguided, but nevertheless all walks are well marked and can be done on your own if you prefer to be by yourselves, we do however recommend walking in groups of at least two persons.
Area info
One of the most dramatic rock formations in Namibia is the 35m high pillar of rock, the Vingerklip or Finger of Stone. It stands proudly above a valley in the ancient landscape known as the Ugab terraces.

If cancelling 8 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the deposit. If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit. Percentage of deposit: 100% (≤0 days before) Percentage of deposit: 75% (≤8 days before) Percentage of deposit: 50% (≤21 days before)
